Concept art tells its own story. You can see designs for locations or characters that ended up on the cutting room floor before production even started. Character and creature designs by artist Josh Nizzi for Thor The Dark World reveal that Valkyrie was possibly going to make an appearance in the film. At least, the idea crossed someone’s mind. Nizzi has three pieces listed for the Asgardian heroine, and I would have loved to see her show up in Asgard. Maybe next time.
